Having sticker shock - childcare is such an issue in this country We have something called universal pre k here so it covers the cost of 15 hours when your kid is 4 (around $500 - 600) Using that credit, and doing a half day (pick up by 12:30) I would still pay $1100 🫠 Cool cool cool

It's so wild these prices. I remember when my son was that age it was SUCH a struggle to pay for childcare so I could work. It's one of the reasons I haven't had more kids even though I'd like to, I just know I'd be struggling all along 😔

LOL get rekt AND fucked for life. I remember reading somewhere that a kid costs close to a million dollars by the time they're 18. I've never done the math but I believe it.

That's only if your district offers full day kindergarten. There are still placed that only offer half day and they can be affluent areas (actually might be the reason why since many stay at home parents) 312 $DEGEN
