crypto is not monolithic, there is no "crypto industry": -->Bitcoin community is focused on anti-Fed currency debasement narrative (replacing state money) -->Ethereum community is focused on state-level-censorship-resistant compute and unbreachable agreements -->Solana community is focused on composability and eliminating info asymmetries for HFT of RWAs, with a side order of centralized consumer apps -->Ripple & most stablecoin operators are focused on [institutional or consumer] remittance

Obviously a broken clock is right twice a day and there is some diversity of opinion in each community, but these are the philosophies embedded in the most fundamental design decisions for each chain and embraced by the chains' respective leaderships. These are *radically* different projects that imply *radically* different worldviews and value propositions for the tech. This affects all regulatory/policy discussions and many other things and leads to some unavoidable pvp dynamics. There is no "the industry". Be suspicious of anyone who claims to be representing "the industry"
