One of the the things that caught me by surprise with my children is how much time a parent spends on their activities. 

Full weekends become dedicated to them and the activities. 

I come back to irl work feeling as if I worked a full-time job over the weekend. 🥱

I never had my parents doing this for me when I was young🙄

My kids better not complain when they have to wipe my ass when I'm old and gray!😂

Ha! Why I can't poop in peace still baffles me?!

I know right? My parents were big putterers and always had projects going on that took their full attention but heaven forbid I try to brush my teeth in peace!

lol so true! Fudge! My kids are still on the young side so I'm not even close to experiencing the  "Yay, weekend" again!☹️

Before kids: "yay, weekend!"
After kids: "oh shit, weekend!"
