This is so true. They also teach us more about ourselves which was surprising to me. How I handle different situations: their triumphs, their failures, stress in general, etc.

Truth! Although I think they pick up more from us than it seems at times... and sometimes it's to my shock and horror as I see some of my worst qualities manifest like a disease 😬 A black mirror indeed.
