the positive thesis for all of it, mid, left, and right being positive sum is that we need to 100X global GDP somehow, any movement up, no matter where it comes from is towards the effective acceleration of everything argument. 

individually, yes pick the left or right side to capitalism on hyper-financial markets and becoming more financial independence. But if you're inside the sphere of this, you're guaranteed to win even while operating in the mid-range.
