Did the numbering on bolded words provide any value or context?

Nothing readily jumped out value- or context-wise. It wasn’t distracting to me though

I capture the flow of thought (order I wrote everything) via the numbers.

I asked because I wanted to see if the linearity of reading clashes with the non-linear cousin, thought.
