Telegram, Slack, and iMessage are the only messaging apps that don't give me extreme anxiety...but very intrigued by this, and I'm curious to see if it would alleviate some of my anxiety when it comes to other platforms with messaging by having them all in one place or make it worse 🤔

IMO ux of texts is better. There is still room for a new comms aggregator app to rule them all though, none are executing flawlessly right now.
