I think I’m coming around to understanding the ETH maxi mentality. How many of you are there here?

Atm, BTC is the store-of-value and hedge against inflation/bad monetary policy bet. ETH is the tech/revolution bet. If you believe the revolution will continue to progress, it seems possible that ETH will flip Bitcoin at some point. If that happens, ETH would run away fast, imo.

I'm not sure how you define maxi but I definitely think that the majority of the future crypto economy will be built in the Ethereum ecosystem

I’m interested less in Ethereum and more in whether any one can change the rules of the game, literally for any reason. Presently, only Bitcoin and Ethereum offer settlement assurances.

i spent all last year bridging and playing the market on other chains, while it was fun from an investing point of view, every project on another chain was an ETH spinoff and there was almost no real innovation on a protocol level anywhere.

I don’t identify as maxi but I believe that statistically it’s the best bet. Either build cross-chain tech or build eth first tech. Other approaches are fine but simply much more of a gamble.
