I think I’m coming around to understanding the ETH maxi mentality.

Atm, BTC is the store-of-value and hedge against inflation/bad monetary policy bet. ETH is the tech/revolution bet. If you believe the revolution will continue to progress, it seems possible that ETH will flip Bitcoin at some point. If that happens, ETH would run away fast, imo.

I’m of the opinion that BTC vs ETH comparison is not a great one due to each optimizing for different use-cases. Which you bring up here. 

Most of my “maxi” comparison is PoS protocols against each other.
