Expo is pretty bad though right - like it’s not good for production is it?

A few years ago I'd agree with this. But have seen Warpcast and other people talk about Expo in good ways.

I've started trying it out myself and it is good. Although, it really depends on what your app does and how much pure native features you would like to use

I'd go pure native, no doubt.

But can't deny that one codebase can serve three platforms: Web, Android and iOS. This is a game changer for businesses and individuals to get something out quick.

For an MVP it would work fine. Although, depends as well on how an app evolves (and it's dependencies)

Some people believe companies will appreciate native performance and rewrite once again their React Native apps in pure native. But we'll see

there are real limitations though right? like cant do a lot of things
