I recently moved into a Technical Program Manager role at a tech company that’s very traditionally organized (in terms of hierarchy, dept silos, etc) I’m still a DAO nerd at heart, and it’s been pleasantly surprising to see how much I’ve learned in DAO land is directly applicable to my day job

BlockScience’s disambiguating autonomy post is particularly useful for framing and language https://medium.com/block-science/disambiguating-autonomy-ca84ac87a0bf Also @spengrah.eth’s Anticapture piece (lots of capture in trad org structures) https://spengrah.mirror.xyz/f6bZ6cPxJpP-4K_NB7JcjbU0XblJcaf7kVLD75dOYRQ

I especially notice it coordinating cross-functional projects and tooling where there isn’t a single owner. For example: -how are they governed and who decides what to focus on? -how are features prioritized and how is accountability determined? -how is consensus built in terms of strategic alignment?
