Anyone interacted with British Airways recently? I’m almost certain they tried to or spent £MM with a vendor to re-do their whole back end and front end systems that has completely failed. - Website action buttons fails - App takes you to website for any actions - Can only manage bookings via phone Challenges of updating archaic systems.

IAG trades on its scale and all airlines trade on their loyalty scheme. Don’t think day to day operations matter that much

Ahhh I see I didn’t see the connection with other airlines under IAG. Sure but umbrella groups still cut loose at times when brands are high cost and losing money or defeated in market which is where operations does start to matter
