Is a great business/product idea supposed to be easy for others to understand or hard?

In other words, if you find it difficult to convince others of your business/product idea, does it indicate something wrong?

My current take: a great idea should be easy to describe but hard to convince others of why it would work/how it will be better than alternatives.

Depends on who you’re convincing - if it doesn’t resonate with your prospective customers that’d be a problem; but if it doesn’t resonate with your grandparents that’s OK
