I don’t think a foundation would ever voluntarily switch to a Futarchy. It takes away all the foundations power! And even the DUNA still allows whales to assert control over the entity, so idk if it’s much better. Proph3t uses a @midao DAO LLC for Meta DAOs entity, which is legally obligated to be managed by Meta DAOs governance smart contract. It’s wildly radical in that it gives all the power to the governance system. Part of Futarchy imo, is having a legal entity that supports it. The DUNA probably could be used for it. But imo, Nouns is too centralized to be a true Futarchy. Still, it could absolutely implement Butter for better grants management!

This is true. I’ve been advocating for a small POC within Nouns so people can see its benefits. Agreed with you we might be too deep on one side but I’m hopeful of a world where both systems can live next to each other. Looking forward to us being in the same city, we will need to chat for sure.
