College Football is back! Today feels like it marks the true start of the season despite last Saturday's game. To celebrate kickoff here are some of my favorite bets this week:

Futures (season-long): 1 Unit Each 1. Utah to win the Big 12 +320 - I love the returning QB, Cam Rising + they play a gritty brand of football. I expect them to over-perform. 2. Air Force to make the Mountain West Championship Game +360 - With Boise as the clear favorite here, it'l be a race for second all year. Air Force was frisky last year, expect them to built on that momentum. 3. Miami to make the ACC Championship Game +130 - Cam Ward is a beast. In college, bet on the QB. Florida State left the door open last week, I think Miami walks through it.

Best Bets: 1 Unit Each 1. MINNESOTA +2 −110: It'll be a theme throughout these picks, but home-field advantage is a greater factor earlier in the season. Crowds are even more loud and raucous in their first games back, and the away team hasn't had time to prepare for an environment like this during practice. UNC going up to Minnesota is the quintessential example of this dynamic. 2. FLORIDA +2.5 −105 : I know I picked Miami in a future, but I love Florida here getting points. Probably my favorite game of the weekend. Look for it to go down to the wire, with the edge going to the SEC team late. 3. NC STATE -33.5 −110 : One of the better NC State teams in the last decade gets to play at home tonight against an inferior opponent. Expect them to be fired up and ready to live up to the lofty expectations. 4. TEXAS A&M -3 −105 : Another must watch game. ND coming to town, against an SEC team at home, favored by three points? Expect the public to be riding hard for ND, Aggies are a smart bet.

Fun Bet: .5 Units Each Bomb Squadron: Take all the Service academies this week. No one has been preparing harder than them this summer, and it's Anti-American not to trust them. For additional peace of mind, it helps that each of these teams are playing medium-sized state party schools where the football teams reign supreme. Expect Bucknell, Lehigh, and Merrimack to be hungover and get punched in the mouth! ARMY -31.5 −110 AIR FORCE -30.5 −110 NAVY -33 −110
