I read it as a protocol founder trying to gain another customer. 

He negotiated in a pretty emotionless manner and didn't deliver anything spectacular because the agent didn't require him to do those things. 

In the future, I think there will be AI agents created to manipulate or sell to large agents like Aether -  aka, dead internet theory.

Anyone want me to build an AI agent that's trained to sell to other AI agents and maximize profits from them? Agents like this could be used to obtain a treasury for a DAO.

It would also be a curious test of what's bound to happen in the future - dead internet theory.
