public ledgers, open source, DAOs, CC0 are all far left coded ideals. curious how the more right leaning crypto space squares these bedrock concepts.

Reading some of these replies I think people have conflated the idea of libertarianism. 

In a lot of ways, crypto was born as an alternative to our current capitalistic system.  Learning about banks “too big to fail” in college pissed me off. It showed the limitations of our current financial system perpetuated by laissez-fare economics, and the best solution I saw was authoritarian? Put even more power and trust in the fed?

As a finance major, I was dissolution with the banks and unsatisfied with the solutions. Then I read the Bitcoin Whitepaper. It couldn’t have happened at a better time. All of a sudden, I was inspired this new way of thinking about finance and money. Crypto emerged as an answer to 2008 for me; better yet, it uses both left and right ideals!
