post-reading jonathan haidt, time to play devil's advocate current web2 social: like/reply-performance algo -> increased unhealthy social comparison -> increased anxiety, polarization, depression the core design elements of most web3 social is $, which can bring out even worse in people and this is good? discuss :)

That is a interesting thought. You are still suffering but at least you are getting paid, so all good. Jk... I am not sure, my gut feeling is that yes, it's better. While reading the book I found his work important, changes like no phone in school sounds obvious, kids should play, 100% But...

I kept thinking that there is no going back now. Like - Ok! So what's next? And the answer for me came 1 week later when I read Salman Khan's "Brave New Words". Embrace the technology and make the best of it. I believe AI will help kids with social media. And I wish for a better crypto + AI future.
