If you eat the Kuro Tamago (the Black Egg) in Hakone, you get 7 years added to your life. I ate 2! They turn black (the shells) when cooked due to the sulphur. This also supplies the onsen water for most of Hakone. Yay active volcanoes!

Oh Pichi this is great, I had no idea about this, that's why I love following your content, there is so much history in Japan to know all these details, you can't read it, or experience it somewhere else, only from a person who already lived it and that's you.
