I used to try really hard to use Firefox and was a big fan of Mozilla, but it became too hard. If you’re still a die hard, what do you think about this news? https://fortune.com/2024/02/08/mozilla-firefox-ceo-laura-chambers-mitchell-baker-leadership-transition/

I really want Mozilla to be successful and want Firefox to thrive but it’s still on a negative trajectory. I wish the new CEO well and hope they turn things around. Unlike the typical HN commenter I don’t think Mozilla’s experiments are to blame for their loss in market share—but I also don’t know what is.

I think people always looking for deep reasons but at the end if you're not the default installed browser on every new computer you'll never have big market share no matter how good you can be.

I definitely agree with that. But sadly Firefox lost a ton of share even among the users who do actively go out of their way to choose alternative/superior tools. I still remember way back when I switched from using IR to Firefox and actively advocated for it.
