This was handed out for the press at Alexey's trial. TL;DR seems to be: - Tool was used by criminals - Alexey did not do anything to stop it - Tool has no legitimate non criminal use - accuse him of criminal intent & arrogance - 64 months imprisonment - steal his car & crypto since he is so bad Shame to NL

They are truly throwing the book at him. I wonder if any of this would have happened without the Lazarus hack; the moment this became a high-profile OFAC sanctions matter, the stakes were raised considerably. Five years in prison is extreme

literally was expecting some kind of proof/charges that he was getting paid by specific groups to collaborate or look away etc based on how they've treated him. this is crazy because none of this is him being nefarious this is just him developing tornado cash. nobody laundered govt issue money, just internet tokens...
