Quick comment to keep you guys updated on the latest discussions happening in Ethereum protocol land. This is not at all a shot at @yb, it’s impossible for him to both keep us updated on FC every day and stay on top of the latest on the protocol side In the terminal update yesterday yb said, “how can we get that ETH staked to help strengthen the network?” Fyi there is currently a lot of discussion (led by @ansgar.eth and @caspar) suggesting that we might not want anymore ETH staked. In fact, the more ETH that gets staked at this point, the more it could lead to negative externalities. yeah I was there. I agree we don't seem to need extra security now and in fact having so much ETH staked by an institution no less is not good.
