While improving our @coinbase integration, we uncovered a major issue.

Their API rounds numbers, silently losing precision. Over 100s of transactions, that adds up and creates serious accounting inconsistencies. Especially for BTC & ETH.

After debugging with real data and helping users, we got Coinbase to acknowledge it. Now they work on a fix.

Oh man. Thank you. The software I wrote for myself before using Rotki had to correct this but I hated maintaining it. What a nightmare for everyone. I'm glad to have Rotki today!

that's a really good catch. In web3 float precission should be paramount, because every digit counts A LOT. Amazing work!
