Moxie (a Farcaster exclusive protocol with a Coin on the Base network) is looking to build economic opportunities for any Farcaster member through Fan Tokens. One of my biggest "performance" weaknesses is that I'm not good enough at "asking". I'm not really sure why. But I see friends and other people I admire who are excellent at it. It works wonders for the quality of their lives. I want to get much better at this.

Moxie Build-in-Public Round 6 I have multiple Moxie projects underway, but all thus far are "technical recon" (i.e., learn the apis, learn frame dev, learn cast actions, etc.) Will look to build something more comprehensive as time goes on. But here's the immediate line-up... -> Frame/Cast Action: Add Fan Token Auction Info -> Calculator: Get it working. Send it out for testing. -> There's more but let's start here

What does the Moxie "airdrop-to-folllower" ratio mean? IMO, it's a cool signal for spotting potentially underpriced accounts (look for ratios > 100). Accounts with a high ratio get good engagement (or build frames) but are less well-known It's NOT - what your followers will get from buying your fan token - a dividend

Seeing a lot of confusion around how Moxie Casts Rewards and Fan Tokens work (much of it my own!), so I tried to put together a graphic to help. Keep in mind this is all "for now" and could change post-launch. --- There are two ways for a Fan Token to increase in value. 1) People buy fan tokens (this increases the total supply of fan tokens and dilutes your portion) 2) The system buys and burns tokens (no increase in supply, so no dilution) The 20% reward is used for #2: system buying and burning. That is, rather than going to the holder of the fan token directly as a kind of dividend, the 20% Moxie Reward is used to buy and burn Fan Tokens, which increases the price without increasing the total supply. To realize Moxie gains from the fan token appreciation, you’d have to sell it. Note: You can sell fractional amounts (i.e., you don’t have to sell a whole token just like you don’t have to sell a whole 1 ETH at a time).
