It’s clear a lot of the anti-cancel culture, free speech warriors of the last decade know deep down that the arrests of students over criticism of Israel is deeply wrong, but they remain silent out of fear of getting canceled by their conservative peers.

i am an israeli jew who is anti-cancel culture i think israel has done many things wrong, and many things right i am politically homeless because the left calls me an oppressor while the right will never see me as white with regard to campus protests: i know many jewish peers who’ve been verbally accosted and physically assaulted on their way to class by people who claim to be “peacefully protesting” i’ve experienced that same anti semitism that gets consistently shrouded under the guise of “anti zionism” - which in fact, is the same thing from my pov: - these “protests” are not “peaceful” at all - free speech does not extend to physical altercations - if jews were doing the same to muslims, i’d expect similar punishments the fact is, jews around the globe are getting tormented by people spewing the same type of hate they claim to be fighting against — and we can’t stand up for ourselves without someone else coming after us

The amount of cowards on the right, whether it's law makers, CEOs, or influencers, is so shameful
