Is there any way or plans to create a way to change the assigned wallet address? Still don't completely understand since I was using My MetaMask to login to the build website. Messing with seed phrases always makes Me nervous. Funny enough, I've since purchased $build in My MetaMask.

No current plans to change this... current focus is on restart noms in a fun and better way and building surprises for onchain summer :)

Besides the extra hassle for the claim, wondering if the issue will mess up the experience for future nominations. Will people then need to connect with this newly created wallet or with the one they used to nominate during phase 1?

great question! since we have all wallets associated with a farcaster account this was just the case that i should be checking if it’s a custody address or not when picking out the wallet to whitelist for claiming. so im in the process of adding that custody knowledge to the system so it doesn’t happen again :)

Awesome thanks 🙏 I assume everybody who hadn’t bought $BUILT tokens before the snapshot ended up with the FC address for the claim, though having connected to build.top and nominated with their *regular* wallet, right? So you needed a transaction not just a sign-in with the custody wallet. Or how did it happen?

we wanted to make sure that a farcaster user could only nom the 3 times per day and couldn’t just setup new wallets to allocate budgets to themselves. So we make use of @airstack and @neynar to look up wallets associated with a given fid/wallet so they couldn’t nominate more than they should. this is how from a single connected wallet we can get multiple wallets
