In front of the Vitthala temple there is an imperial stone chariot drawn by elephants. This chariot is carved out of a single piece of rock. The huge wheels of the chariot, made in the shape of a lotus, originally rotated and symbolized the life cycle. There was a belief that whoever could spin the wheel cleanses his karma. And since there are always many who want to do it , they decided to secure them tightly for the safety of the chariot. I did not look at the Indian banknotes very much, but only after visiting did I find out that this chariot is printed on a 50 rupees note. https://warpcast.com/lbadik/0xd372a1ac

The cunning monks have stopped the wheels so that people cannot cleanse their karma themselves and go to temples with offerings... it's business)))

I bet many would like to spin that wheel. Karma is often a topic of concern for many, haha. Thank you so much for sharing dear Liza, I love it! 54 $degen
