How the Sun changes!
This is a compilation of ultraviolet images obtained by the SOHO observatory. Here you can clearly see how the Sun changes during its 11-year cycle. The brightest images occur at the peak of maximum solar activity, when its magnetic field is strongest and most dynamic. The size of the Sun, of course, does not change. That's how this collage was made.
