I don’t think bar conditioner would work well on my hair. I am a “coctailor” and mix up my conditioner from a bunch of different ones that do different things depending on what my hair needs at that time. It’s an art form and skill I have developed over about 15 years, lol. I use a heaping palm full (and laugh at the suggestion to use a quarter sized amount) and then “squish to condish” to make sure it gets into my hair. My hair care is serious business to me! Don’t even ask me about my styling. It is not for the faint of heart.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I have a wife that behaves in a similar way well, in Brazil we have some bar conditioners and they work well for me. I have curly hair, which means my hair is naturally dryer than straight hair, I don't like it when it's too hydrated the curls won't even show up. However, they don't last as much as bar shampoos! A bar shampoo will last about 45 days with me while bar conditioners last 30,if im lucky but I think this could be improved if there were enough efforts???

My hair is blessing and a curse. It can be straight to 2c curly depending on how I fix it. It looks amazing when I fix it, but if I don't do much to it (let it dry naturally and don't fuss with products) it is straight in some places and curly in others and I look like a crazy old witch. So I have to put effort and products into it every single time I wash and style. But I have figured out how to do that well and with predictable results. Part of me wishes I just had hair that was either completely curly or completely straight so I could "wash and go" and not take 3 hours from shower to done. But my hair is also one of the only features about my appearance I feel like I can control and that people compliment me on so I do like that I _can_ make it look really nice and it makes the effort worth it to me. It is a pain when I travel, though because I don't have shortcuts to the process. It's the one thing I'm "high maintenance" about.
