my last tattoo i got in brazil and it was $80 USD and covered almost my entire inner forearm i'm about to get my next one here in montreal (~18 months later) that's around the same size and it'll be $500 USD 🫠 great example of how wildly different the cost of labour can be in different areas of the world for the same level of talent in the same service

that's the dolar power (btw $80 is a really cheap tattoo! where did you get it? são paulo?) brazilian tattoos of this size are around $180 currently

i got it in fortaleza! she had only been tattooing a couple years so maybe that is also why it was a bit less, but her quality is 🔥 🔥 🔥
