Searing hot take from me @laurens's expense (sorry laurens! 😅) 20K per DAU is fair & conservative IMHO. Personally, I have made 5 figures interacting on Farcaster, which means economically I as an individual user brought at least that order-of-magnitude in value to be sustainable. High SNR Quality DAUs >>>>> Millions of $0 marginal accounts. https://bsky.app/profile/danielfernand.es/post/3l7bucykozj2g https://warpcast.com/dfern.eth/0xe5bdacbb

haha no worries, bring it on! I definitely disagree that 20k/dau is fair value, but proof is in the pudding, so lets see where farcaster takes it! your farcaster income, is that with moxie, or another way?

Eigenlayer & Degen airdrops mostly, I haven't made that much from Moxie. Also some NFTs for being an OG, which are worth a few hundred, but I don't think that's repeatable.

gotcha, good for you! but what added value does farcaster actually provide with eigenlayer and degen airdrops? Like, the money you got came from the airdrops, farcaster made the process of getting it smoother, and provided greater reach. but where does the added value of farcaster then come from?

It's the value of any marketplace for ideas, products & services. Think of Lloyd's Coffee House, the first stock exchange. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd%27s_Coffee_House Conversations all over the spectrum of economic size & value lead to transactions of real economic size and value. For example, I learn about /eigenlayer and attach my existing ETH validators into the Eigenlayer system to build out the decentralized cloud. We both mutually benefit. @neynar @airstack.eth @openrank are able to build dev tools to suppor the ecosystem. @spindl @snickerdoodle are able to build adtech to monetize the attention economy, again turning ideas & attention into transactions. BSky's biggest risk is eschewing incentives to bring more value to users because some in the community don't understand economic transactions create more value than the sum of their parts.
