Love island is def one problem but I think the biggest problem is tiktok. So many women reaffirming the “don’t settle” narrative and convincing each other that it’s empowering to stay single until the “perfect guy” comes around. Except this “perfect guy” doesn’t exist. None of my friends seem to realize that there’s also development in relationships. If they want a guy to do XYZ for them, they might need to ask or tell him what they want (and vice versa).

Was only kidding :P But yeah it think our culture is creating a lot of entitled people (both sexes) There’s still a few of us that are down for long term relationship building and knowing we’re not perfect! I will die married to Madi and it allows me to focus on other stuff
