Ok I can’t be the only person who thinks this “deal” is a scam

1. There’s not a single thing I could purchase on UberEats for $10, and they know that

2. I’d rather have a 10% off deal for my $50 order, knowing it’s the same $5 savings

Yeah they’ve been in hot water lately bc of stuff like that. People really hate the hidden fees and fake discounts

Ex-VC. I like making bread (literally and figuratively) 

The problem is nothing is forcing them to change. DoorDash does the same thing (maybe a little less). People will complain about their $20 chipotle order turning into a $45 order after fees… but they keep ordering bc of the convenience. Wish there was more transparency but I’ll still use it for the convenience too

You'd think they'd change and do something different by now, but I guess that's just how people (and big companies) work
