Every now and then I shudder at the memory of bringing back a white truffle and pasta from Italy, lovingly preparing a simple dish to let the truffle shine... only for my ex to raid the fridge, dump Rao's tomato sauce all over BOTH our plates and say "no trust me it'll be great."
