Some of my friends have really leaned hard into their relationships and it's changed my relationship with them as a result, been tough for me to accept but looks like end of an era, RIP

I'd be curious to hear what @laurenmessner  thinks about this - but since we've been together since college, I've definitely noticed my relationships change with my friends who are still single

Many more of my friends today are in long-term relationships or getting married

I think it's just a changing of the seasons and a new chapter of life, but totally feel you that nobody prepares you for this, and that it has impacted me more than I thought it would

It's tough but natural - friendships evolve. We don't party like college days anymore, but instead we’ll get dinner or go to a workout class together. If you want to maintain the friendship, both sides need to acknowledge the change instead of pretending nothing's different.

Some friendships will fade, but that doesn't mean they're over forever. Sometimes you're ships sailing together until life takes you different directions
