if people very steeped in art say "sorry, that is not art" you should pay attention, because it is triggering enough that it made them defensive imo, art is about intent (did the creator make this to try and make someone feel something?) it is not about reception

The opposite is also true though, if art that’s steeped in art and those nose pickers say “that’s too art” then it’s probably good art 🥀🔥
