Look, it's actually pretty simple: UIs, infra, dependencies etc. can and will be corrupted. When you hit the buttons on the hardware device, that's when you need to be 100% sure what you sign. The MOST important part is the screen on your hardware device and what it displays and that you 100% understand what it implies. If you're not 100% sure, don't hit the buttons. NEVER. People need to become paranoid. They need to understand that you're one signature away from being rekt. It's IMHO 80% at least mindset. That's the price of self-sovereignty and asymmetric cryptography. How to make verification easier is another question, or what kind of guardrails should be built. Nr. 1 priority is that you ALWAYS understand WHAT you sign.

This will help enormously people who are behind a CGNAT, Starlink or other different types of connections For now there's a bit of manual configuration involved, but we're exploring spinning up our own instance of Headscale to handle everything in-house and automagically.

Finally, go to the tailscale DNS tab, find the Nameservers section, click on "Add nameserver" and add a custom nameserver. • Nameserver IP: 172.33.1.2 • Activate "Restrict to domain" switch. • Set the domain as dappnode (can be whatever)

Now you will go to Tailscale's dashboard and will configure tailscale to "accept advertised routes" which basically means to get the plumbing done to reach the UIs that dappnode will give you via Tailscale: Go to the machines menu and follow these numbers:

You need a tailscale account, so create one first. Then you'll need to create an Auth Key that you'll use when installing the package.

Hot take: 2017 ICOs were not a bad idea, just absolutely unhinged execution. I still want to be able to invest early in a project that I believe in from the get go and get equit-ish in return. I've been trying @theqacc this weekend and apart from the nightmare of bridging to zkEVM, it's pretty dope
