I actually think this is healthy/normal as I don’t think the profile of user overlaps much. Don’t think crypto twitter will ever onboard the next generation of users tbh

agree that twitter is generally pretty detached from normal users, even good trades - though they come in when there's a possibilty to trade (in size as in hyperliquid). that said, Farcaster is even further from onboarding the next generation of users as nobody is doing any onboarding & few care about trading 😆

yeah i agree generally again - the difference with FC ecosystem is that there's an actual evolution of usage patterns/UX. it's not perfect (its arguably not even good), but at least it's different than what we've seen for the last cycles i think this place is more of a bet that this small group will distill something useful vs screaming about token prices/airdrops/pretending like crypto is functional the way it is

Absolutely. I genuinely feel Farcaster did a great job growing the core community and onboarding so many good builders - which shows best whenever a new open, composable product is launched like degen, moxie or clanker. But even the most loyal builders realize that crypto is much bigger and the (slow) growth of the farcaster network (this year) limits their own growth. Hence, Degen, Moxie, Clanker all have started to target outsiders - not exactly to move them here though but to expand and win their fair share in the mcap battles. (Degen > L3, Moxie > Base, Clanker > Twitter marketing) So, at this point Farcaster is a solid launchpad for ideas, new products, communities but you need to go elsewhere to become successful and I fear outsiders realize this too and don't come here to launch or build. It's also telling that cookie.fun doesn't cover farcaster data, fc ai agents because the data isnegligible and focus on other things first.. Growth (focus) of underlying platform if the fuel everyone needs.
