This does make me think - there could be better mechanisms than simply burning FIRE for actions. Like speeding up gathers or new building types could take FIRE and deploy a single sided LP of FIRE at one tick around 10x (or less…) spot. If that position hits later, the LP could be withdrawn into the counter asset (say ETH or USDC) and returned to the user. This would encourage players to not “lose their FIRE” but be building up a “future reward” while enhancing overall liquidity. Just my 2c thinking about this more now @nbragg

this is a pretty cool idea and pretty unique! I could potentially see it making sense to play around with how things are burned and how much later when the project is more mature and there has already been a lot burned to give a good stable base to fire. currently what would be tricky with this is that the pool needs to be a v2 pool to allow for the token fees to work. once v4 is out there are a lot more possibilities available.
