irl, everything trades to usd, and usd serves as the reserve currency.
onchain, btc should be treated the same.

eth and sol down, btc up.
lots of projects got wrecked by falling eth/sol prices.
if it was btc in LPs instead, it’d be a whole different story

Your counter asset going up does not inherently help the pair rise in price.

if i have a pair against bitcoin and it goes up the token’s price increases accordingly in terms of the token usd ratio
