What are the best non crypto native/beginner friendly resources on DeFi? I feel like I sound like a sugar-high 10 year old explaining my favourite niche topic when I talk to friends about it lol therefore easy to digest follow up info for them would be helpful

You are! For when you do come - if you don’t skate a lot my suggested mindset framing is this - the first 10 mins are hard and you’re like WTF how is this fun, then after that it’s child like excitement and joy. Followed by the post exercise endorphins. If you’re used to skating though it’s just fun lol

this actually is the Rideau Canal! We’re very lucky and live right in front of it. So very convenient for us to walk on 😂. they clear it before they clear the sidewalks apparently I highly recommend checking it out. I love seeing so many people outside skating - the beaver tails and hot chocolate help. We’ve seen people wind sailing on their skates early in the am which is next level

I love a cold winter walk! I feel like it’s the ultimate mental health activity, especially in the winter

When it’s snowed so much you can’t walk on the sidewalks… you walk on the frozen ice instead peak 🇨🇦 winter

Some stablecoins like @gyroscope earn yield within the token, like LST with eth

These are very good things to know thank you @monteluna! We have pairings with usdc, but potentially even some smaller pools with the others. They would be used in staking vaults so it might work. I’ll research these! Thanks again

Thats a good return! I’m currently trying to find quality yield bearing so I can pair it with another stablecoin

Thank you! Do you have any favourites that use Moonwell x morpho vaults to generate the yield for holders? I’m looking for something like Origin (OUSD) where simply holding that stablecoin generates yield but on optimism. Sadly ousd is only on mainnet at this time

I’m doing some preliminary research for potential LP pairings with @glodollar that could be leveraged by @pooltogether and @superchaineco vaults

What are the best yield bearing stablecoins on Optimism? Best = secure, transparent + sustainable yield sources

This is interesting! I really like being able to track my wallet via @ensdomains without having to actually connect/sign in Also the CTA to put my idle assets to work is chefs kiss Do you have docs on what places you track/what tokens?

I would love an app that lets someone save but they are actually depositing stables into aave or something behind the scenes being about to earn yield. Even better if it could also tap into @pooltogether no loss lotteries to gamify it for people. Something that helps people access the best parts of DeFi yield but with a very simple front end. Maybe it automates the saving too by using @unlock-protocol subscriptions to set reoccurring deposits etc.

I read through the article as well - my post isn’t a dunk on their being no apps I just actually want to know what apps people like using that are less crypto native focused to play with and try out for myself for fun I use crypto apps all the time and think we’ve got really great ones! Just curious about less crypto native ones is all

I know all of the things to be true and agree with you fully! I think my question is getting lost in translation. For context I’m in Canada and asking more if there are easy to use apps that might use say pool togethers no loss lottery savings under the hood, in a fun wealthsimple like app. I work in the stablecoin market and am thankful people use the things you’ve mentioned everyday through easy to use apps so not saying they’re not important. I also personally use crypto credits cards etc Just wanting actual apps names so I can check them out and play with them / share them with friends is all!
