What else should we fix with direct casts?

The more specific the request / bug report, the better!

On our list (so no need to flag):

1. Search
2. Video
3. Folders
4. Composer actions
5. More developer APIs, e.g. read

An ability to turn them off all together.

I will never read them. 

I would rather have the ability to just block people from sending them to me.

that’s one of the early reasons I came out immediately to speak in public on Farcaster, I heard you were the man on AlfaFrens, so I tried to DC you directly and through group chats but you ignored me (including my taunts 😂) so I just came and cornered you on FarHouse and peppered you and everyone else with questions, and then learned you didn’t believe in direct casts 😂

A notification is a neighbor waving a friendly hello.

A DM is a solar panel sales rep banging on my door and demanding I drop what I am doing and do what they want right now.

I am not a fan.

A lot of very detailed questions and requests, overwhelming group chats and obvious spam "offers" to trail new crypto projects.

That just feels like work emails and I don't have the time or energy to deal with them.

I stopped checking them on X ages ago because I got tons and tons of "Here is my latest Tweet please share and reply to give me a boost" from people I barely interact with.

I get quite a few of those here too, it's just not as bad because I have few followers here and therefore less perceived boosting power.
