But then how do you find people you want to follow? Most of my initial contacts on this app (and other social media) are through cold replies in one direction or the other

a lot of IG accs are people have overwhelming number of comments so they would really like to have this feature. if the setting is optional then that's fine but yea, i'm with you on this
