Onchain has no reason and no point to compete with Degen Chain. The L3 concept, in our understanding, involves a simple and fast chain that satisfies a specific set of needs 👇

(3/5) which is almost impossible on base network due to the unstable cost of the transactions and huge popularity of the network

With the current development of Superchain concept, the creation of a new chain allows to avoid the uncomfortable fragmentation of liquidity (with a properly installed bridge infrastructure)

Blob gas limit increases will make this a non-issue very soon.

Even Superchain doesn't solve native dapp deployment like having a robust lending market which is necessary for a DeFi ecosystem, even if you can overcome fragmented liquidity.
