today, I’m buried in homework. the first week of school flew by so quickly, and now I have a ton of assignments piled up. God willing, I’ll at least get through what’s due tomorrow🙏🏻

“another day, another slay,” or maybe I should say, “another day, another two books that I’ve bought today.” can you imagine? I have about 20 unread books, and I’m still buying more. it’s kind of crazy😭 I don’t know what should I do🫠

during boring lectures, I’m reading the e-book version of Stephen King’s “The Institute,” and while walking or shopping, I’m listening to it in audiobook format. (thank goodness we live in the age of technology.) as for this book, my impressions are much more positive. the heavy and sometimes brutal story of a boy named Luke is both striking and unsettling. this story evokes a full range of negative emotions, and I sincerely hope that places like “The Institute” don’t exist in reality. if you enjoy King’s work or the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” you’re sure to like this one.

right now, I'm engrossed in the book "If We Were Villains." despite its interesting plot, I find it a bit dull and confusing at times, as I would have made different choices in some situations. the story hasn’t fully captivated me yet, but the start of the university year is also making it hard to immerse myself completely in this eerie tale. even though I'm around page 170, I'm still getting to know the characters.

despite having many unread books at home, I want to visit a bookstore today and buy something light, like a book by Sarah Jio. after Remarque’s “Arch of Triumph,” I need something easy and calm. my psychological thrillers just won’t do for this🤷🏻‍♀️

hey friends, a lot has changed recently: 1. I finally returned to my apartment after a vacation in Kyiv. 2. I fell head over heels in love with Kyiv. 3. I read a few good books, and I’ll share the list in my next post. 4. today is another busy day as I plan to go shopping for household essentials like laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. 5. I finally went for a manicure and got rid of a terrible one. by the way, I don’t plan to get my nails done anytime soon, just a clean-up. 6. I got a haircut and somewhat regret it because for the first time in my life, I really liked my slightly longer hair.

my mood is at rock bottom because of that jerk (or rather, several jerks who are always sticking their noses where they don't belong and spouting nonsense) I mentioned in the previous post. a situation that doesn't even directly affect me is just driving me crazy. their mothers raised awful people🤷🏻‍♀️ I have so many photos from today's trip to a beautiful place, but I just can't focus.

why do some people love sticking their noses into others’ business? why can’t some people mind their own lives? why on earth would I need anyone’s unsolicited advice? people should be more respectful, communicate civilly, and focus solely on their own lives instead of, heaven forbid, counting the money/expenses of people who are complete strangers to them.

in the past few days, I’ve taken so many new photos that, of course, I won’t post anywhere🙂 I believe Warpcaster doesn’t need my face, and I prefer to remain anonymous here. However, I’ll still leave a faceless photo as a memory.

since I can't post a video from the cinema due to Warpcast's policy, here's a photo of my legs from the cinema. the seats were extremely comfortable, and overall, the place was top-notch. the movie, by the way, was pretty good. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. it's a pleasant and interesting story, nothing excessive or complicated. I deducted 3 points for the imperfect development of some characters.

before heading to the cinema to watch the well-known animated movie “Inside Out 2,” I decided to read a bit of a book by Matt Haig. it’s too early to say whether I like it or not, but it seems pretty good so far, as it’s easy to read. honestly, I’m not really a fan of modern literature; I specialize more in the classics. however, for now, I want to read something as light as possible.

thanks to trips like these, I am reborn and start life anew, with a clean slate. I begin to see the world from a completely different perspective, my thoughts become more positive, and the problems that bothered me at home don't trouble me at all while traveling. I live only for new cities and countries, dreaming of living in each existing country for at least a month and, one day, finding that city where I want to spend the rest of my life.

I'm really happy to be in Kyiv, and if I could, I would stop time to spend even more time here. I don't feel like going back to my hometown yet. the thought that I still haven't seen many places, visited enough shops, and taken many photos always haunts me💔

look what we have here😏 I have already read one of these books, and honestly, it was really bad💔 the book absolutely did not appeal to me: the idea was great, the beginning of the story was captivating, but the resolution left much to be desired. I don’t understand why the author decided to take the easy way out and completely ruin the ending. the book I'm talking about is "We Have Always Lived in the Castle" by Shirley Jackson.

these days, I don't post much on my Instagram or take many photos in general. but I used to have another account where I was quite active. now it's just memories, and I occasionally browse those photos like flipping through a photo album. p.s. I also have a lot of photos in my archive, with around 200 posts in total.

by the way, on my eighteenth birthday, I received a total of three cakes! it was incredibly delicious, and the people who gave them to me will forever remain in my heart. they are amazing, and sometimes I wonder what good deeds I did to deserve such blessings from above😭💔
