@ethereum has 3 major upgrades: 1) The Merge ✅ 2) Dencun (EIP-4844) ✅ 3) Verkle Trees ⏳ All other changes are incremental improvements (e.g. single-slot finality). Verkle trees will make Ethereum stateless, reducing storage requirements & improving scalability.
