Chat interfaces are great when users: 1. Have a curiosity related to large quantities of data (search, retrieve, synthesize) 2. Have a desired end-state involving one or multiple arbitrary chores I would love to see new interaction paradigms that leverage AI to proactively inspire curiosity, spark intent, and encourage autonomy

More specifically, I think we get there through: - Privacy-preserving (ideally portable) long-term memory - Interoperable standards for user profiles, history, and preferences - New interaction models (OS-level integrations, ambient computing)
