I had always assumed that's how it works, but the referral rewards are actually more so tied to onchain earnings. Specifically, if you encourage someone to collect a post, you would get a share of those earnings. Same goes for if you encourage someone to start writing and then they earn money onchain, you would get a share of those earnings. I like the idea of getting paid for referring subscribers to another publication. As long as there's proper guardrails for preventing abusive behavior. Thanks for the note!
