Does anyone feel like Farcaster has been becoming quiet lately like me? Data from dune shows that the daily active user count is decreasing since it peaked roughly 3 months ago.

Something changed. I get way less replays and more likes. The people I followed 3m ago are still here. Just the farmers left. From time to time some come back but leave soon. PTSD. Spent a lot of eth on garbage and now sceptical to enter in any conversation or buying activity

Some people I’ve introduced to Warpcast have left because they don’t see any authentic engagement or are not seen by any non bot users, I have been very vocal about the state of farcaster and how it is dealing with many things, I hope we shift from farming to more of a social network, I’m positive farcaster will thrive at some point, but they have to make a lots of improvements and that takes time, it grew too much in a very short time, I hope to keep seeing it develop.

I've been casting less lately. The recent Moxie drama has really exposed some unexpected behavior from certain people, which has been quite surprising. Sometimes, all the negativity just gets to you, and you feel the will to take a step back I guess…

I think the worry about getting flagged as spam and the feeling of this place being controlled to much really hurts things. Decentralized and permissionless don’t really seem relevant here. It’s weird seeing it change, at least that’s my take.

I don't think it's right to look at it right now, it's summer and no one has any interest in either farcaster or crypto, gas fees at 1 all the time. This data would be worth watching when interest in cryptos returns, probably October data will be much better

I think this has to do with the fact a lot of users are disgruntled by being falsely marked as spam, they feel their voice is silenced and don't have the motivation to show up here anymore.
