tbqh wallets will exist on mobile/hardware as a place to sign transactions + messages. That’s it. Fintech distribution will mainly be custodial. Web browsers are convenient but not necessarily super useful for folks who interact primarily mobile. Wallet layer trends to commoditisation, application layer is the futur

Instead of wallet for finance, I imagine it will become a wallet for identities and people use it in both cyber and near space. But today’s computing environments are walled gardens, it will have to be built by the OS to become mainstream.

Fintech apps and browsers are both means to an end, I could see a future where both browsers and fintech apps completely dissolve or get abstracted under other emergent tech (VR being one of them)
